Police in Bridgewater, N.S. say a physique has been recovered from a automobile that plunged into the LaHave River on Sunday morning.

Members of the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team had been looking the waters, close to the previous Port of Bridgewater, on Tuesday.

Police first responded on Sunday, together with the Northfield District Fire Department and a water rescue craft from the Bridgewater Fire Department, when it was reported a automobile was noticed “in the process of submerging” within the water.
