2 Regina residents arrested after theft, assault at Albert Street business – Regina | 24CA News

Two Regina residents are dealing with theft and assault fees after Regina Police Service stated a lady and a lady tried to depart a business with unpaid merchandise.

Regina police arrived at a business within the 900 block of Albert Street Sunday afternoon and charged a 17-year-old lady and a 40-year-old girl after they resisted arrest.

Police stated that the lady threatened staff with a knife and swung a needle at them, and that the lady had bodily assaulted an worker.

The lady and the lady, Jana Sayer-Desjarlais, 40, had been charged with assault and theft-related offences. They are to look in courtroom on March 30.
