Good Guy Schneider: Blue Jays manager performs the Heimlich to save woman from choking
When John Schneider isn’t managing the Toronto Blue Jays, he’s busy taking his spouse out to lunch and saving lives on the similar time.
At least, that was the scene a pair weeks in the past.
Speaking to Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae and Shi Davidi, Schneider stated whereas he was out for lunch he noticed a lady choking and struggling to breathe, with individuals round her not realizing what to do.
Schneider, who’d discovered the Heimlich Maneuver in highschool, then walked over to supply assist.
It seems Schneider positively listened at school as a result of he efficiently carried out the maneuver regardless of not being certain if he remembered methods to do it, and saved the girl by dislodging a chunk of shrimp.

Schneider, 43, took over as Blue Jays supervisor on an interim foundation after Charlie Montoyo was fired final season, main the workforce to a 46-28 document to complete the 2022 marketing campaign.
