Michael Fulmer agrees to deal with Cubs (report)

The Cubs have agreed to a cope with free-agent right-hander Michael Fulmer, based on The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal. The membership has not confirmed.

Fulmer cut up final season with the Tigers and Twins after he was dealt to the Minnesota on the Trade Deadline for Minor League righty Sawyer Gipson-Long.

Working out of the bullpen final yr, Fulmer recorded a 3.39 ERA with 61 strikeouts over 63 2/3 innings.
