Report: Bichette’s Blue Jays contract worth $33.6M guaranteed over three years

Bo Bichette‘s contract with the Toronto Blue Jays is value $33.6 million assured over three years, with the potential of rising as much as $40.65 million, in accordance with The Athletic‘s Ken Rosenthal.

With the contract, the Blue Jays and Bichette prevented arbitration. Bichette is now signed by means of the 2025 season.

The 24-year-old Bichette slashed .290/.333/.469 with 24 homers and 93 RBI in 159 video games final season.

Bichette was picked to his first All-Star group in 2021, ending the 12 months with a .298/.343/.484 slash line with 29 homers and 102 RBI.

The Blue Jays picked Bichette within the second spherical (66th total) of the 2016 MLB Draft. The high-schooler then acquired a $1.1 million signing bonus.
