The grisly aftermath of an alleged deadly capturing was described in the present day throughout the homicide trial of a former medical scholar accused of killing a fellow scholar in Halifax seven years in the past.

The Crown alleges Samson had gone to Sandeson’s condo to promote him 9 kilograms of marijuana when the accused shot him on the night time of Aug. 15, 2015.
Key witness Justin Blades — one other former Dalhousie scholar and monitor athlete who knew Sandeson — testified he was visiting a pal in a neighbouring condo when the 2 younger males heard a gunshot.
