Edmonton Elks unveil pending free agent list, release 6 players – Edmonton | 24CA News
The CFL launched lists of pending free brokers for all 9 groups on Thursday and introduced the league’s free agent interval will open on Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. MST.
The Edmonton Elks have 24 gamers listed, led by receiver Kenny Lawler who led the soccer group in receiving yards with 894 and scored 5 touchdowns.
Lawler was named the group’s nominee for Most Outstanding Player regardless of lacking six video games with shoulder and ankle accidents.
The remaining pending free brokers are:
REC Derel Walker: completed with the second-most receiving yards on the Elks in 2022 with 874 yards.
DL Jake Ceresna: completed third within the CFL in quarterback sacks with 10 in simply 12 video games performed. Tied for second within the league in pressured fumbles with 4.
DB Ed Gainey: completed in a tied for first on the Elks in move knockdowns with 5.
REC Manny Arceneaux: fourth in receiving yards on the Elks with 513 yards.

Earlier within the day, DBs Duron Carter, Treston Decoud and Jeff Richards — together with offensive lineman Tony Washington — had been amongst six gamers launched by the Elks.
Punter Jon Ryan retired on the finish of the 2022 season. The Elks now have 19 gamers remaining on their pending free-agent record.
