Toronto Hydro says it’s investigating after a number of “large-scale” energy outages had been reported on Friday.
In a tweet at round 5:40 p.m., the corporate stated it was conscious of the outages that had been “impacting customers within the city.”
“We’re investigating and will provide an update soon,” the tweet learn. “Thank you for your patience.”
Toronto police stated the outages had been affecting the Scarborough and Lawrence and Eglinton space.
“Cause of the outage is unknow,” police stated in a tweet. “No time frame for the power to be restored.”
Officers reminded motorists to deal with intersections as a four-way cease if site visitors indicators are out.
