‘A blessing’: Costco coworkers from Toronto area win big on Lotto Max  | 24CA News

A gaggle of Costco employees from the Toronto space have gained massive on Lotto Max.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) stated in an announcement Tuesday that the three employees have claimed a $1 million Maxmillion prize from the Oct. 11 draw.

If divided evenly, Toronto resident Aileen Mendoza, Concord resident Andre Nicholson and Woodbridge resident Ponrose (Rose) Antonipillai get about $333,333 every.

The OLG assertion stated the employees take turns buying tickets for the group.

When Nicholson was coming off of an evening shift, he checked their ticket for the Oct. 11 draw utilizing the OLG App.

“I saw $1 million but couldn’t believe it and scanned it several times,” he stated.

Mendoza and Antonipillai then scanned it to see for themselves.

“This is a blessing,” Nicholson stated.

The OLG stated they every have their very own plans for the winnings: Nicholson plans to assist others, Mendoza plans to pay payments, and Antonipillai will assist her kids.

Their successful ticket was purchased at Longo’s on Rutherford Road in Woodbridge.
