Restaurant Brands to expand Burger King, Popeyes in Eastern Europe through McWin deal

Restaurant Brands International Inc. is increasing two of its greatest fast-food manufacturers in Eastern Europe by an affiliate of restaurant operator McWin.


The firm says McWin’s newly launched Rex Concepts CEE platform has acquired grasp franchise and improvement rights to increase Burger King in Czech Republic, Poland and Romania and to introduce Popeyes to Czech Republic and Poland.


Restaurant Brands says McWin plans to open 600 eating places within the three nations over the subsequent 10 years.


David Shear, president worldwide of Restaurant Brands, says the corporate is assured McWin’s robust expertise creating companies will result in the profitable enlargement of the 2 manufacturers in Eastern Europe.


Henry McGovern, co-founder of personal funding agency McWin, says the corporate sees important progress alternatives for the manufacturers within the area.


He says following the corporate’s acquisition of BK SEE Poland S.A. in August, the grasp franchise and improvement settlement with Restaurant Brands is the second funding made by its McWin Restaurant Fund.


The deal “demonstrates our commitment to helping brands reach the next level with operational excellence as we unlock sustainable long-term value for customers, employees, communities, and the local economies where we operate,” McGovern mentioned in an announcement.
