Alpha’s plant-based breakfast sandwiches, burritos recalled over undeclared milk – National | 24CA News
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded a recall for alpha model plant-based merchandise as a result of they comprise milk that’s not listed on the label.
The authentic recall for alpha model Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich — meatless sausage has now been expanded to incorporate Plant-based Breakfast Sandwich – Meatless Chorizo, Plant-based Breakfast Burrito – Meatless Sausage Scramble and Plant-based Burrito – Mexicali.
The sandwiches and Meatless Sausage Scramble burrito had been offered in 156g packages and the Mexicali burrito was offered in 142g packages.
All had been offered throughout Canada.
There have been no reviews of any sicknesses linked to the product.
Customers are being advised to both throw the merchandise out or return it to the place it was bought.
